As healthcare professionals at Proliance Surgeons, understanding and honoring the diverse cultural celebrations of our patients and colleagues is essential to providing compassionate, culturally competent care. Originally a spokesperson for the Nation of Islam, he later embraced a more inclusive vision of human rights after his pilgrimage to Mecca, becoming a global voice against oppression before his assassination in 1965.
