Surgeon – ProOrtho Orthopedics Sports, Joint & Spine
I am an orthopedic surgeon named Dr. Pritchett. Throughout my career, I have had a deep interest in amplifying the voices of the underserved and advocating for diversity. As a teenager and during my time in medical school, I had the opportunity to work alongside one of Seattle’s pioneering black surgeons, which greatly influenced my path.
Additionally, I served with the Indian Health Service and provided medical care to the immigrant community in Maricopa County, Arizona. Over the span of 21 years in my orthopedic practice, I dedicated a significant amount of my time to serving the underserved. It is worth mentioning that my mother played a vital role as a sponsor for the migrant workers’ children insurance program, starting in the 1960s. Furthermore, I take pride in my great grandfather, who served as America’s first Civil Rights Attorney, actively participating in numerous important trials that aimed to establish and protect the rights of black Americans during the first half of the 20th century.
